Becoming a Member:

To become a member of Gears of War Addicts, you will need to do one of the following:

1. Post a thread in the Gears of War Addicts Forum under “GWA Clan Discussion” requesting to join.
2. Send a Friend Request to xGWAx PWNiSH3R & request to join.

Once the request has been made, our recruiting officer (PWNiSH3R) will contact you to play a few rounds and determine if you are a good fit for Gears of War Addicts. He will spend time explaining how things work, who people are, any requirements, etc. (It sounds way more intimidating than it really is, we’re all cool people and want you to be a part of Gears of War Addicts, we just need a process to allow members to join.)

Grounds for Removal:

• Being disrespectful, mean, offensive, etc. to any clan member.
• Remaining inactive for 2 months, not playing with or contacting any clan member for 2 months
• Not becoming a member of the Gears of War Addicts website within 2 months of joining Gears of War Addicts

Game Night Regulations:

1v1 Tournaments

Game Type: Execution, Warzone
Total Rounds: 3
Round Time Limit: 3 minutes
Bleed-Out Time: 10 seconds
Map: Determined per Tournament
Weapons Available: Determined per Tournament
Friendly Fire: Off

Each game will be hosted and refereed by a Gears of War Addicts Chairman or General. The hosting Chairman or General will be on the locust team and will play as the white locust. The official will stay out of the way and do his best not to be a distraction. If you kill the official you will automatically lose all 3 rounds unless the official determines it was his own fault. One stalemate per match will be allowed. In the event of 2 stalemates, the hosting Chairman or General will determine if one player was purposely forcing a stalemate and award the opposite player the winner. In the event of 2 stalemates and neither player is at fault, the hosting Chairman or General will flip a coin to determine the winner. If for some reason the person you are matched up with doesn’t show up you will be awarded an automatic win and advance in the tournament. Prizes, weapons, maps, & dates will be determined per tournament and will be contained in the individual tournament details post. The decisions of the Gears of War Addicts Chairmen & Generals are final and non-disputable.

Wingman Tournaments

Game Type: Wingman
Total Rounds: 15
Round Time Limit: 4 minutes
Bleed-Out Time: 10 seconds
Map: Determined per Tournament
Weapons Available: Determined per Tournament
Friendly Fire: Off

Each game will be hosted and refereed by a Gears of War Addicts Chairman or General. The hosting Chairman or General will be on his own wingman team. The official will stay out of the way and do his best not to be a distraction. If you kill the official, you will be eliminated and asked to leave the game immediately unless the official determines it was his own fault. After the round is over, and all other participants are dead the hosting chairman will kill the remaining person(s) to allow the round to end. Participants have the ability to choose their own wingman. Prizes, weapons, maps, & dates will be determined per tournament and will be contained in the individual tournament details post. The decisions of the Gears of War Addicts Chairmen & Generals are final and non-disputable.

Horde Mode Challenges

Game Type: Horde
Total Rounds: 50, 25, 10
Map: Determined per Tournament
Difficulty: Determined per Tournament
Friendly Fire: Off

Horde mode challenges will feature teams of 5, all hosted by a Gears of War Addicts Chairman or General. Each team will play with the exact same game type specifications and the matches will begin at the exact same time. The teams will race to see who can complete the goal number of rounds first. The hosting Chairman or General will report to the others when their team has finished all rounds. The times will be recorded and reported by the official. The decisions of the Gears of War Addicts Chairmen & Generals are final and non-disputable.

Internet Challenges

Internet Challenges will vary. There is no set date for “Internet Challenges.” Rules for each challenge will be posted in the challenge’s post. Each challenge’s prize is a Rank UP unless it is otherwise specified. .:GWA:. Generals are not eligible to win the challenges (unless the prize is not a rank up)
