This weeks  Gears of War Addicts ”Addict of The Week” is one of our newer members,GWA Four Twenty aka Gears0fWar420. Four Twenty was very active on the website this week, posting in the fourms/ commenting up a storm. He played with Me (PWNiSH3R) and a bunch of the other clan member a lot this week. Everytime i was on he was either in a party with some of the other clan members or in a party with us Chairman. He also got so into the clan this week, he changed his Xbox Live Gamertag from Gears0fWar420 to GWA Four Twenty. Now thats what i call commitment!

We’ll base our decision on all sorts of things such as, who was most active on the website, who played the most, most improved, sportsmanship, among other things. This week was a difficult week in choosing the Gears of War Addicts “Addict of The Week.”  We decided to choose two members who deserve some recognition. The first Gears of War Addicts ”Addict of The Week” is one of our newest members, Ninjaswitch17. Ninja spent alot time playing with us, and was active on the site. He played with XHolySchnikiesX and Me (xXWhodeyXx85) all night this past weekend. He told me when he first joined that he wanted to rank up really bad because he thought that .:Grub:. sounded like he was a magget. Well I can say that he did enough in my book in one week of being a GWA member to earn a  rank up. I would like officially promote Ninjaswitch17 to a .:GWA:. Drone.

Now on to the second “Addict of the Week.” EdieKaye spent a lot of time on the Gears of War Addict website as well as the forums. She won the first GWA word scramble challange, getting the phrases with ease. She has been an awesome member for a long time now and deserves some recognition.

For this weeks Gears of War Addicts ”Addict of The Week”, we chose one of our best members, TheOnlyJewLion aka xNNx Fury. This makes him a two time Addict of The Week. Why did we pick TheOnlyJewLion? First off, he’s been very active on the website. He played with Me(xXWhoDeyXx85) and XHolySchnikiesX pretty much everyday. Even when he wasn’t playing, he would still sit in the party and socialize or something. We had a ton of fun playing this week. He has been a truely awsome member for a very long time now and for that I would like to promote TheOnlyJewLion to a .:GWA:. Private.

After last week’s dominating week by Gizmoh, we thought it would be difficult to choose this week’s Addict of The Week. Fortunately, Wildcody123 stepped up and made the decision a lot easier for us. At this point, I’m fairly convinced that Wildcody123 some other life form that doesn’t sleep…actually I know this isn’t true because he fell asleep while trying to find a match at one point this week . Wildcody123 played Gears of War 2 among other games with everyone pretty much everyday this week. Even when he wasn’t playing, he would still sit in the party and socialize or something. We had a ton of fun playing this week / weekend. Cody and I (Hughes03) had some fun chainsawing some n00bs a few times this weekend also.

Quick Note: This week, we decided to change the Player of The Week to Addict of The Week. This change will remain in effect in the future. Now…on to business…

For this week’s Addict of The Week we chose Gizmoh. It was pretty easy to pick him with confidence, he gave us plenty of reasons.  First off, he was the first non chairman to contribute articles to the Gears of War Addicts website. In case you haven’t seen them, check the main page for the Gears of War 2 Survival Guide series, it’s broken up into 3 parts. I for one think he did an excellent job breaking this game down and explaining everything. Second on the list was that throught it all, Gizmoh great sport this week, even when he was lagging with xXWhoDeyXx85 & all of the laggers this weekend. We all played with Gizmoh a lot this week and got to know him a little. He was extremely active on the site and the forums. He also made the “Heros of War” video which turned out awesome! If you haven’t seen it yet, go check it out. xNNx FURY (formerly Dinokiller999) also sent a request to all of the chairman nominating Gizmoh for player of the week stating “I think Gizmoh should be member of the week, maybe rank up as well. He’s been helping me a hella lot lately.” Thats what we like to see in our members for sure!
