Gears of War 2 Title Update 4 Detailed Release Notes

Title Update 4 has not yet passed certification and so I am unable to give you a specific date for it’s release, but I wanted to get you the information. The following fixes and improvements are included in the upcoming Title Update 4.

Yes it looks like XP is making its way to the horde gametype. If you pause the “Dark Corners” preview video on the front page at 2:49, you will see an “Experience Earned indicator”, and yes it has been confirmed by Joe Graf:

According to a recent post on the Gears of War forums there is plans to remove the “Smoke Stun”. Cliffy B and the rest of the Epic Crew plan on doing “Tests,” to see whether or not they should remove the Smoke Stun, or take it out during certain days (ie: Smoke Free Saturdays.) All Evidence does suggest that a change will happen to the smokes:

I know it’s early, but as some of us know epic has said that they are already working on a TU4. TU3 did a lot to get rid of some of the annoying things about gears, but here are some things that were not included in TU3 that I think they should add to make this game perfect.. (continue reading…)
